PennFab is one of the few large fabricators with a full-size, in-house engineering department. Dedicated exclusively to projects produced or supplied through our fabrication facility, our team brings together mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering expertise.
Since 1983, PennFab has combined hands-on fabrication experience with modern engineering technology to bring complex projects from the drawing board to the real world. Our team supports projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C., Boston, and greater New England.

Tools & Technology

Our engineers use industry-leading software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and TEKLA for design and detailing. Whether a project arrives shop-ready, requires additional detailing, or needs to be developed from the ground up, our engineering team has the tools and experience to move it forward.
Engineering and detailing are completed in accordance with applicable industry standards and requirements, including AISC, AWS, ASME, AREMA, ANSI, and PennDOT. Working closely with our fabrication teams helps ensure designs are practical, accurate, and ready for production.
With engineering, welding, fabrication, processing, and other capabilities available under one roof, PennFab can support projects from initial design through finished fabrication.
